How to Sleep Better

A good night sleep as important as a healthy diet. A study suggests that getting 7–8 hours of sleep is needed for a healthy person. Lack of sleep causes insomnia, stress, negative emotions, heart disease and diabeties. Here are some pointers that you can follow in your daily life

  1. Do not eat late at night
  2. Increase your bright daylight exposure as our body automatically adjust the body clock

3. Do exercise regularly but not before bed

4. Filter your blue light in the night & limit your digital device use in the night

5. Use Blue-ray filter glasses while working on digital devices

6. Don’t consume caffeine late in the day

7. Try to sleep and wake at fixed times

8. Get a comfortable bed, mattress and pillow

9. Keep the ideal temperature of the room. For me its 20°C

10. Don't drink alcohol late in the night it causes disordered sleep pattern

11. Do 15 min meditation before bed & try to relax yourself

12. Keep your mobile on do not disturb mode while you sleep

13. Consult a doctor if you have insomnia or any other sleep issues before taking any supplements on your own.
